Homemade tomato ketchup
I know what you are thinking- why bother???? Well here are three reasons; it is seriously good and tasty and you know exactly what’s in it!
I have served it with broccoli bites
Ingredients
240g ripe vine tomatoes, deseeded then chopped
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper
Method
Add all the ingredients to a pan. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Place in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth, about 1 minute.
Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 month
