Alison Hammond’s Brownies

Prep Time – 15 minutes

Cook Time – 30 – 40 minutes

Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 250g Unsalted Butter
  • 200g Dark Chocolate – broken up
  • 80g Cocoa Powder
  • 65g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 360g caster sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 10 dime bars, chopped roughly

Method:

  1. Heat oven to 180°C (160°C fan)/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together on a low heat.
  3. Add the sugar and cocoa powder. Mix well
  4. Add eggs and mix until smooth.
  5. Fold in the flour.
  6. Add chopped dime bars
  7. Bake for 30 – 40 minutes, until crisp on top and still gooey in the middle.
  8. Eat warm!
